Downtown Paris Association Float
The Downtown Paris Association Float won First Place for Most Original Float in the Worlds Biggest Fish Fry Parade in April and it won Third Place in the Out-of-town Float category at the Strawberry Festival Parade in May.

Kathy Ray presented the First Place Trophy to Rusty Wiles, instructor of the Auto Mechanics Class at Henry County High School, whose students built the float as well as a Downtown Paris Association basket of goodies. The trophy and model float is on display in his classroom.

"You Be The Judge" 2nd Annual DPA Barbecue Cook-Off"
The Downtown Paris Association (DPA) is seeking entrants for the second annual “You Be the Judge - DPA Barbecue Cookoff.
The event takes place on Saturday, May 12 on the lawn of
Henry County’s historic courthouse. The competition runs
from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm.

Spooktacular - A Howling Good Time


(October 20, 2011) From puppies to rock stars, the Downtown SPOOK-tacular in Paris, Tennessee promises a howling good time on the Henry County Courthouse lawn on Saturday afternoon, October 29. Organizations and businesses will provide free crafts, entertainment, contests, live music and concessions from noon until 4:00 p.m. Merchants invite children to the stop by downtown stores to trick or treat during SPOOK-tacular which is sponsored by the Downtown Paris Association (DPA).
