"Official
Best Of" Rescheduled
(September 29, 2009) Henry County’s historic and
scenic downtown Paris will be featured in a television
program focusing on Tennessee called “Official Best Of”
at 1 pm on Saturday, October 3 and at 1 pm on Saturday,
October 24 on WKRN (ABC) Channel 2 Nashville. A
previously scheduled air date was cancelled due to
editing delays. The thirty minute show will highlight
the Henry County Courthouse and other sites around the
court square in its Downtown segment. The production
company creates television programming featuring the
best family attractions in several states.

Holder, CEO of the Henry County Alliance said “Footage
for our two minute segment was shot on August 3rd and
took over three hours. We very much appreciate the
cooperation of the Downtown Paris Association,
Commercial Bank, First Bank, the Iron Place, Jack’s
Java, Jack Jones Florist and Gifts, Paris on the Square,
the Toggery, Moon’s Jewelers and our local talent, City
Commissioner Terry Fuller, Bruce Reed, Charles Hopkins,
Gaines Hedges, Candy Hedges, Carter Hedges, JC Ramos,
Susie Umstead, Norma Steele, Kasey Cox and McKenzie
Cox.”
Tennessee River Resort Act funds made the
feature possible, which will also be available for three
years online at
www.officialbestof.com. Holder said “This was a
unique opportunity to highlight our downtown and our
community in the Nashville market and online. We are
grateful for the support of the Tennessee River Resort
Act committee.”
