(June 24, 2009) Arts 'Round the Square (ARTS), the
centerpiece of Eye-Full of Paris
Weekend, has issued a call for artists to show, sell and
demonstrate their wares during the September 26, 2009
event. Held from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on the lawn
of Henry County’s historic courthouse, ARTS is
co-sponsored by the Paris-Henry County Arts Council and
the Downtown Paris Association.
Registration forms for artists are available on the
Paris-Henry County Arts Council's website,
www.phcarts.com.
The deadline for early registration is September 1,
2009.
Arts 'Round the Square draws a number of local and
regional artists including painters, potters, fabric
artists and more. A host of live musicians are on hand
throughout the day and an entire performance space is
dedicated to children’s theatre and interactive
art/music workshops for youngsters.
Eye-Full of Paris Weekend is a three-day celebration of
the arts and is held the last full weekend in September
each year. Genres that are represented include visual
and
performing arts for both children and adults with an
emphasis on artist interaction.
